Growth
The first national convention was held in Lowell, Massachusetts, within a year, with 14 chapters already established. AHEPA officially recognized the Sons of Pericles as its Junior Order in 1928, in Detroit.
Mission
Promote Hellenism among youth and keep Philhellenic tradition alive for future generations.
LEGACY
The order has a symbolic tie to the 122nd Greek Battalion, a Greek-American volunteer unit formed under the U.S. Army in 1943.
TODAY
It functions as a leadership incubator for young men of Hellenic descent, active in the U.S., Canada, and increasingly Greece.
